isaac agreed to a haircut last night. of course, i owed him a toy today but he allowed a full-on, shaving involved haircut! it is bowled all the way around and shaved underneath in the back. he looks like a 90s style skater boy. although, the style is timeless. he looks adorable and now doesn't have to push his hair back when he swims. i am sad though. i miss the long hair b/c he no longer looks like my delicate bebe. he looks like a ruff and tumble kid. he is also tall and solid. so, he seems more like a 5 year old than a barely 4.5 year old.
saw iron man today with D. fun. then bought isaac an iron man toy. i like it. way better than power rangers.
garden update: squash coming up (2). I am thinking those 2 were a bit shaded in the afternoon and so stayed moist more. the other 2 plants dry out faster. the dill isn't coming up at all. but, it is hot and i am just going to continue watering and see what happens. hopefully, the HOT is declining and my garden will see some relief. everything else is doing ok. Planted 2 more tomato plants. both larger sizes. Also planted more dill (not seed), garlic chives, golden thyme, culantro (sp?) and inside seeded broccoli, cabbage, and chives. all doing great and my seeds are doing so well! I am super excited and will try to grow from seed more since it will save me some money. might seed some pansies and allysum to save money since i need so much to fill the garden. only have one bloom on my eggplant. have not yet tasted any of them b/c they keep getting stolen. i think some big trash takers stole the first round. at least one was taken by a squirrel or bird and the others just disappeared.
moving on! looking forward to a great fall! broccoli and cabbage! yum!
